Balustrade Valley Views
A dual approach the balustrade design for the Bupa Crofton Downs retirement village in Wellington proved a master stroke for the aesthetic lines of this recently completed project.
Designed d by JTB Architects wellington office and constructed by national building contractors Naylor Love this modern looking building with scenic views across the Crofton Downs valley has its roots constructed in structural steel, rib raft concrete floors, a mix of concrete and timber exterior walls, with steel decks and roofline to closed it out.
Colour matching the balustrade design with its opposing horizontal and vertical fins created a fantastic building symmetry with all the façade elements and roof line.
A fine example of thoughtful design incorporating colour and form to create a subtle visual elegance.
